Garage Roller door lock upgrade in West Hoxton

Last month Rollout Locksmiths went out to a property in West Hoxton. The customer wanted a better solution to lock up her roller doors. With a few recent break-ins around the area she wanted to take no chances. She just started up a new gym business and converted her garage to a small gym. It's tough enough starting up a new business let along someone stealing your equipment!

Roller door solution

As the only thing locking these doors was the motor from the electric roller door system, we suggested a more effective solution to her problem; a roller door anchor system. This is the strongest way to secure a roller door. This solution pretty much bolts the roller door to the concrete! I explained how it would work and that she must not operate the electric roller door with the lock system in use. It could ruin the electric motor and would be expensive to replace.

Lock installation

We installed the XTRA LOK Roller Door Anchor in the middle of the door to maximise the security. The ground plate was bolted into the concrete with four bolts. Hercules and The Hulk couldn't pull this Anchor out of the ground! A criminal would take one look at this and move on to the next house! The other half of the Anchor system is also bolted to the roller door with four bolts.

We keyed the padlocks to her house key so she didn't have worry about having another key on her key ring. One less key to worry about!
