KNOB SETS

The three most common knobsets around homes are:

Entrance sets - These knobsets are usually found on external doors. The knobs remain unlocked from both sides unless they are locked by the push button, turnsnib or key. By turning the inside knob, turnsnib or using the key from the outside the knobset can be unlocked.

​

Privacy sets -  These knobsets are usually found on bathroom or bedroom doors. The knobs remain unlocked from both sides unless they are locked by the push button or  turnsnib from the inside. By using a coin or screw driver from the outside or turning the inside knob or turnsnib the knobset can be unlocked.

​

Passage set - These knobsets are usually found on internal doors that don't require locking. These  knobsets always remain free and can't be locked.
